03:00: The car arrives in Ha Giang City. You will check into a local homestay early to sleep and recover your energy before the morning departure.
Day 1
08:00: Your tour guide will pick you up at your hotel to officially begin the 3-day Ha Giang loop tour.

09:00: The car stops at the top of Bac Sum Pass, the first high point of the trip.
You have 15 minutes to get out and look at the large valleys and rocky mountains below.
10:30: Your driver drives the vehicle up a steep 15-step road to reach Heaven Gate.
You will feel a noticeable drop in temperature here. This viewpoint is 1,300 meters above sea level, so the air feels much cooler.
You will have time to climb the stairs and look down at the local farms and Quan Ba town.
11:30: We drive through Quan Ba town so you can see the famous Twin Mountains.

After that, the route takes you through Can Ty Pass. Here, you will notice the landscape changing into large limestone rock formations.
13:00: The car stops in Yen Minh for lunch. You will eat standard Vietnamese food, like rice, meat and fresh vegetables, at a local restaurant.
14:30: We arrive at the Vuong family mansion, also called the Hmong King Palace.
You have 45 minutes to walk around the stone courtyards and wooden rooms.

The guide will tell you about the local Hmong leaders and their history with the opium trade.
16:30: The car reaches Dong Van Town. You will check into a local homestay here.
The rest of the evening is free for you to walk around the town and buy your own dinner.

Day 2
08:00: After breakfast, you pack your bags into the car and check out of the homestay.

09:30: The car drives into the famous Ma Pi Leng Pass, a 6-kilometer road cut directly into the mountain.
You will get out and do a short walk along the safety ridges. This gives you time to take photos of the deep valley, cliffs, and corn farms below.
11:00: We pass through Meo Vac town and carefully drive down the sharp corners of the M Slope.
13:00: The group arrives in Mau Due Valley. We stop here to take a break and eat lunch at a local roadside restaurant.
14:30: Our car drives up Lung Ho Pass. From this high point, you can look down at large rice terraces built on the sides of the mountains.
15:30: We head towards the Dao Minority villages. The driver will pull over often so you can take photos of the landscape from the narrow roads.
16:30: You arrive in Du Gia Village and check into a local homestay for the night.
17:00: The driver takes a short drive on a dirt road to Du Gia Waterfall.

You need to walk over some rocks to reach the water. Everyone has time to swim and cool off before the sun goes down.
18:30: We return to the homestay in Du Gia. You will share a family-style dinner with the local hosts and relax for the rest of the night.
Day 3
08:30: You say goodbye to the homestay hosts and get in the car for the last day of your Ha Giang loop tour.
09:30: The car drives through Lung Ho Valley and enters Duong Thuong Valley.
You will see large cornfields growing on both sides of the main road.
11:30: We drive over Heaven Gate and head back toward Quan Ba town.
