Start your day with an easy pickup from your hotel in Nha Trang. Sit back and enjoy the gorgeous drive to the charming region of Phu Yen.
It takes three hours to drive from Nha Trang to Phu Yen, which is 142 km away. You can stop by Dai Lanh Market along the way. It has a wide range of fresh fruits and vegetables and seafood. It is smaller and less touristic than other markets, so you may shop like a local.
Your first destination is Hai Dang Mui Dien, popularly known as the Dai Lanh Lighthouse. Mui Dien Lighthouse was built on a mountain top 83.5 meters above sea level in the Dai Lanh mountain range of Ca Pass, a branch of the beautiful Truong Son range that extends to the East Sea, at coordinates 12 degrees north latitude and 109 degrees east longitude. This is the best site to see the first sunrise on Vietnam's mainland.
At the end of the 19th century, a Frenchman named Varella discovered and marked the significance of Dai Lanh cape on the world nautical chart, which the French dubbed Cap Varella. In 1890, the French built this lighthouse to guide offshore ships into and out of Vung Ro Bay.
Since then, the Dai Lanh cape has been known as Mui Dien (a cape with an electric light).
Built and put into operation for more than 100 years (1890-2024), Mui Dien lighthouse has always quietly performed its mission of guiding maritime activities and supporting fishermen when going out to sea.
This is one of eight lighthouses over 100 years old in Vietnam and is the lighthouse located closest to international waters.
You can try some of the local food for lunch. You can try a lot of foods at different restaurants. You will have a chance to enjoy fresh seafood such as fish, grilled squid, or shrimp because seafood is a specialty in the area.
Two more well-known Vietnamese dishes are "Banh Canh," a thick noodle soup, and "Banh Xeo," crispy Vietnamese pancakes filled with shrimp and bean sprouts. In Phu Yen, each restaurant serves traditional Vietnamese food with a twist that is unique to that place.

Next, we will visit Hoa Vang Tren Co Xanh. This name comes from the famous movie “I see yellow flowers on green grass” (2015) by director Victor Vu, adapted from the novel of the same name by writer Nguyen Nhat Anh.
In the film, Bai Xep appears with the image of green grass hills, dotted with small yellow flowers, creating a peaceful scene, reminiscent of childhood.
After the film was released, this place became an attractive destination and was loved by tourists, and was called "Yellow flowers on green grass of Phu Yen".
To have the most complete experience at Bai Xep, you should choose the right time to come here.
February - August: This is the most ideal time, with dry weather, clear blue sky, calm sea, and favorable for sightseeing activities.
March – June: This is the season when yellow flowers bloom, creating the most beautiful scenery of the year. If you want to check in with green grass slopes mixed with yellow flowers, this is the perfect time.
September – December: The rainy season in Phu Yen can affect your trip, the sea is rough and there may be storms. You should check the weather before planning.
Ganh Da Dia, often referred to as "The Giant's Causeway of Vietnam", is your next stop. Ganh Da Dia (An Ninh Dong commune, Tuy An district, Phu Yen province), about 35km from Tuy Hoa city center.
What impresses anyone who sets foot here is the extremely special structure of the rocky beaches formed along the coast.
Countless hexagonal, circular or square stone columns, layer upon layer, tightly connected to form an inseparable structure, looking from above like giant honeycombs lying close together.
According to research documents, the type of rock in this area is basalt, formed by volcanic activity in the Van Hoa plateau hundreds of millions of years ago.
The lava flows erupting from the volcano, when encountering cold water, froze, these lava blocks cracked, creating unusual rock blocks.
Finally, explore Thap Nghinh Phong, a distinctive architectural marvel located near Ganh Da Dia. Located at the starting point of Nguyen Huu Tho Avenue and Doc Lap Street (Tuy Hoa City, Phu Yen Province), Nghinh Phong Tower appears with the unique beauty of a massive and sophisticated architectural work.
Nghinh Phong Tower contains historical values and heroic traditions of the nation. Inspired by the legend of "Dragon and Fairy's Descendants" and the beauty of the national scenic site of Ganh Da Dia, the design idea for the construction of the Nghinh Phong tower square was implemented in April 2019.
The arrangement in this design idea (corresponding to the detail of 50 children following mother Au Co to the mountains and 50 children following father Lac Long Quan to the sea). In which, the stone pillar symbolizes father Lac Long Quan with a height of 34 m, the stone pillar represents mother Au Co with a height of 28 m.
You are driven back to your hotel in Nha Trang by our driver. Arriver around 20h00pm.

FAQs
As travel agents, we frequently receive a variety of questions before the trip-planning process even begins. Everything from the best period to book to determining if travel insurance is worth it. We love being able to share our professional expertise and personal experience with our clients, offering them confidence that their holiday will be nothing less than exciting.
While it may seem too early to plan a holiday, it's always a good idea to research travel tour prices ahead of time and book as soon as a suitable offer has been identified. "When it comes to the winter holidays from October to February in the next year—the priciest time of the year—your best bet is to book the tour service before this period," according to my own experience. "Look to book between one to two months ahead for domestic travel and two to 6 months ahead for international travel."
It is a good idea to check if you need a visa for Vietnam before applying for one, since this will save you both time and money, especially in times of crisis.
According to official announcements, residents of 25 countries will be able to travel to Vietnam and stay for 14 to 45 days (depending on nationality) without requiring a visa beginning in 2024.
To enter Vietnam, such citizens just require a valid passport with at least two black pages. The complete list of these countries can be found this link : //www.vietnam-visa.com/vietnam-visa-exemption/
