This mountain pass offers panoramic views of the peaceful countryside. There will be a brief stop along the way for you to capture these breathtaking scenes with your camera.
When reaching Dalat, we will visit the Datanla Waterfall. Datanla Waterfall in Da Lat is located on Prenn Pass, Highway 20, about 5km south of the city center.
The waterfall falls from a height of 20 meters, creating a clear stream of water flowing through many layers of rock, both strong and gentle.
At the foot of the waterfall is "Death Abyss"—a place associated with many legends of the indigenous people.
Thanks to the cool water all year round, this place is also called "Fairy Stream."
Datanla Waterfall is an attractive destination for outdoor enthusiasts. Here, visitors can participate in the 1,000 m-long Datanla Waterfall slide, zipline, rappel, or kayak.
You can walk along a 600 m trail under the pine forest to reach the waterfall, or you can use the slide.
Truc Lam Zen Monastery in Dalat is one of the most famous Zen monasteries in Vietnam, belonging to the Truc Lam Yen Tu Zen sect—a Zen sect founded by Zen Master Thich Thanh Tu with the goal of arousing the spirit of practice and preserving the Buddhist identity of the Tran Dynasty.
Located on the top of Phoenix Mountain, about 5 km from the center of Da Lat city, the Zen monastery has a special position when overlooking the poetic Tuyen Lam Lake, where the calm water surface blends with the green pine forest to create a scene that is both peaceful and poetic.
This is a destination not only for pilgrims but also a place of worship and relaxation for domestic and foreign tourists.
One of the outstanding features of Truc Lam Zen Monastery is the harmonious combination of traditional Buddhist architecture and majestic natural landscape.
The Zen monastery campus is designed in an ancient architectural style, inspired by the Zen monasteries of the Tran Dynasty, but still creates a gentle, peaceful feeling with moss-covered tiled roofs, airy gardens, and colorful flowers and grasses all year round.
Our next destination is Tuyen Lam Lake, whichis not only a familiar destination for tourists when coming to Da Lat but also an important part of the cultural history and tourism development of the city of thousands of flowers.
With an area of 320 to 360 hectares, this is the largest artificial freshwater lake in Da Lat, with a poetic beauty in the middle of a vast pine forest and fresh, quiet air.
Geographical location: The lake is located in the south of Da Lat city, about 7 km from the center, near Prenn Pass and only about 2 km from Datanla Waterfall, in Ward 4, Da Lat City, Lam Dong Province.
Natural features: The lake has a large water surface area with many small islands and is surrounded by green pine forests, creating a charming landscape and cool climate all year round.
History: This area used to be a revolutionary base during the war. In the 1980s, irrigation works were built to create the current lake. At that time, the lake was also called Quang Trung Lake, later renamed Tuyen Lam Lake, with the meaning of "mountains and water in harmony" (Tuyen: stream; Lam: forest).
Cultural and tourist value: This place is not only an ideal resort but also recognized as a national historical and cultural relic and one of the typical national tourist areas in Vietnam.
Tuyen Lam Lake offers a relaxing natural experience, very suitable for activities such as picnicking, boating, camping, or simply relaxing among the pine forest and clear blue water.
You can have a traditional Vietnamese lunch and try some of the dishes that are famous in Dalat city for their fresh veggies and unusual flavors at a local restaurant. You can look up some restaurants like these:
After lunch, we visit the Summer Palace of Bao Dai, the last emperor of Vietnam. This historical site shows the luxurious life of the Vietnamese royalty during the 20th century.
Bao Dai Palace is the common name of three ancient palaces bearing the strong mark of French architecture, which were used by King Bao Dai, the last emperor of the Nguyen Dynasty, as a place to live, work, and relax when in Da Lat.
These palaces are not only important historical relics but also attractive destinations for tourists because of their peaceful spaces and unique architectural values.
Next, we head to the Dalat Flower Garden, which covers an area of more than 7,000 square meters and features a vast array of flowers and plants.
Initially, Da Lat City Flower Garden was called Bich Cau Flower Garden or Da Lat Flower Park and was built in 1966. However, the flower garden was later abandoned and only revived in 1985. When rebuilt, many different types of flowers were planted here to serve tourists.
With a total area of up to 700 m², Dalat Flower Garden has become one of the largest flower gardens in Vietnam. Here, you will experience the diversity of Dalat flower seasons along with rare flowers from the country to the West. Immerse yourself in the fragrance of mimosa, hydrangea, and hundreds of other flowers; you will feel the delicate beauty of this place.
The final stop of the day is at the Crazy House, a unique and iconic example of imaginative architecture in Vietnam.
As one of the pioneering female architects who dared to bring new and innovative things into architecture, despite many difficulties, Ms. Nga still maintained her steadfastness and gradually built Crazy House.
With the "language of architectural art," the main message of the house that Ms. Nga wants to send to everyone is to always cherish and protect nature so that people and nature can always live in harmony with each other.
Ms. Nga created rooms with different themes, such as Bamboo Tree, Termite Nest, Gourd, Kangaroo, and Earth Eagle... and when living in those tree roots, people feel close to and live with wild nature.
You will transfer back to Nha Trang at around 18:00 PM and arrive Nha Trang around 21:00 PM.

FAQs
As travel agents, we frequently receive a variety of questions before the trip-planning process even begins. Everything from the best period to book to determining if travel insurance is worth it. We love being able to share our professional expertise and personal experience with our clients, offering them confidence that their holiday will be nothing less than exciting.
While it may seem too early to plan a holiday, it's always a good idea to research travel tour prices ahead of time and book as soon as a suitable offer has been identified. "When it comes to the winter holidays from October to February in the next year—the priciest time of the year—your best bet is to book the tour service before this period," according to my own experience. "Look to book between one to two months ahead for domestic travel and two to 6 months ahead for international travel."
It is a good idea to check if you need a visa for Vietnam before applying for one, since this will save you both time and money, especially in times of crisis.
According to official announcements, residents of 25 countries will be able to travel to Vietnam and stay for 14 to 45 days (depending on nationality) without requiring a visa beginning in 2024.
To enter Vietnam, such citizens just require a valid passport with at least two black pages. The complete list of these countries can be found this link : //www.vietnam-visa.com/vietnam-visa-exemption/
