Overview
Chan May Port
Chan May Port, situated in Central Vietnam, is located between two of the most picturesque cities: Hue and Da Nang. This deep-water port, nestled the West of the East Sea, is a main stop for cruise ships touring Southeast Asia.
Infrastructure: Chan May Port is equipped with modern facilities to handle both cargo and passenger traffic. This includes waiting lounges, customs and immigration services, and basic amenities for travelers.
Besides, there are numerous shore excursions available that start from some key attractions in Hue, Danang, and Hoian. These tours can range from half-day to full-day trips and are often customizable.
Hoian
Nestled on the central Vietnamese coast, Hoian is a small yet exceptionally well-preserved example of a Southeast Asian ancient trading port dating from the 15th to the 19th century. This historic town is a melting pot of cultures, where Chinese temples, a Japanese-designed bridge, and French colonial houses blend seamlessly into a Vietnamese backdrop. Once a bustling trading hub, Hoian’s well-preserved architecture and relaxed atmosphere now make it a must-visit destination for cultural explorers.
Danang
Danang, in the other hand, is a dynamic and rapidly growing city in Central Vietnam, known for its sandy beaches, scenic mountain ranges, and modernist architecture. It serves as a bridge connect Hanoi in the north and Ho Chi Minh City in the south. Unlike the ancient and serene Hoi An, Danang is a bustling metropolis with towering skyscrapers.
Together, Hoian and Danang offer a perfect blend of historical richness, cultural diversity, and modern vibrancy, making them ideal destinations for travelers seeking a comprehensive experience of Vietnam’s past and present.
