Cai Rang floating market

Cai Rang floating market is a biggest floating market in the Mekong Delta, where people have been dealing on the waterways for many years. More and more tourists are drawn to Cai Rang because of the wide range of goods sold from a fleet of brightly colored boats.

Traders start coming together early in the morning to buy fresh fruits and veggies, handmade goods, and everyday household items to sell elsewhere. This makes the market lively and happy. There are a lot of boats on the river between 5:30 and 9:30 a.m., which is the busiest time.

At the bow of each boat, sellers hang samples of their goods from a long, straight stick that the locals call a “Cay Beo.” This is a market for farm products, mostly fruits,. It’s possible to find a hundred and one different kinds of exotic fruit, like longans, dragon fruits, mangosteens, and mangoes.
